Al Azhar Darul Uloom Madrasa & Orphanage, located in Tulatoli, Sonagazi, successfully organized an Iftar Mahfil and discussion on 19th March, Thursday afternoon at the madrasa premises.
The event was graced by Mr. Jamal Uddin Sentu, former Mayor of Sonagazi Municipality, as the Chief Guest. The program was chaired virtually by Professor Ataharul Haque Chowdhury, a Canada-based expatriate and President of the Madrasa Management Committee.
Special guests included:
- Maulana Enamul Haque, Khatib of Miajji Jame Mosque
- Jasim Uddin Khan, Municipal Tax Officer
- Maulana Nurul Islam Helal, Mohatamim of the Madrasa
Also present were respected teachers, including Maulana Saiful Islam, along with education enthusiasts, social worker Rezaul Karim, and other distinguished members of the local community.
It is worth mentioning that Al Azhar Madrasa & Orphanage was founded by Mrs. Suraiya Azhar with the aim of supporting underprivileged and talented students. The institution offers special facilities for needy students and is committed to providing both Islamic and general education.
